A leading European engineering and construction specialist is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to manage the electrical systems package on a large-scale data centre project in Frankfurt.
 

You will take overall responsibility for the delivery of the electrical scope on site, leading teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the electrical systems package from installation through to handover
  • Lead site safety in coordination with the project and safety teams
  • Coordinate the electrical design process with the design team
  • Manage client-supplied electrical equipment and packages
  • Drive strong health, safety, quality, and environmental standards on site
  • Manage project schedule, costs, and resources for the electrical package
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities
  • Track progress against programme and manage staffing levels
  • Manage snagging and ensure timely close-out of punch list items
  • Prepare and issue weekly cost and progress reports
  • Coordinate material deliveries in line with the project schedule
  • Attend site, planning, coordination, and handover meetings
  • Support, coach, and develop the electrical site team

Requirements

  • Trade background and/or relevant third-level qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Engineer, Electrical Lead, or Package Management role
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale electrical installation projects
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety and design & build environments
  • Good technical understanding of electrical systems (mechanical knowledge beneficial)
  • Strong organisational, reporting, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and drive programme delivery
